| The Aldridge Sawmill and Township site (circled in red, lower right) is located in the longleaf piney woods of the Angelina National Forest in East Texas. It sits on a high terrace adjacent to a scenic bend of the Neches River in the extreme northeastern portion of Jasper County. The nearby historic towns of Zavala and Rockland are also circled in red on the map. |
