Espíritu Santo Bay

This motif is similar to that of “Copano Bay” save that the lines descending from the vessel rim are straight diagonals rather than vertical squiggles.  Although only one definite example of this motif was present in the current sample, its occurrence has been noted at other sites in the region.  For that reason it is considered a viable decorative pattern.
