A-C-midden: Approximate limits of
buried burned rock midden (AU 6) observed in Areas A and C. Three radiocarbon
dates suggest that this accumulation of spent cooking stones formed around
5100-5500 B.C. during the Early Archaic. The midden limits depicted in this
graphic are based on a study of the Hinds field records by Joe Saunders.
