Image of sherds with sublip primary design elements.
Selected sherds with sublip primary design elements of incised vertical lines and cross-crossing. Specimen (e) has a drilled repair hole and traces of asphaltum crack filler. A second hole would have been drilled on the other side of the crack, allowing a thong or cord to be used to draw the two sides together. This suggests that decorated vessels were valued.
