Ransom Williams clearly knew his way around horses, a skill he may have acquired from laboring under a Kentucky master. This painting by Frank Weir is a reconstruction of the Williams Farmstead corral area, based on the numerous horse-related artifacts found at the farm as well as historic evidence, such as tax records, documenting his ownership of horses.
