The Cabe Mounds site was one of the major ritual centers along the Red River during the Texarkana phase and probably represents part of the upper Cadohadacho village what was eventually abandoned in 1788. Here participants in an archeological conference visit the site in 2002. The site is protected by the Archeological Conservancy today. Photo by Steve Black.
