These decorated jars are belived to have been made at the Brazos Reserve in the 1850s. These two and another similar pot are in the Brooklyn Museum and were collected by medical doctor. The vessel form and decorative designs are immediately recognizable as Caddo in origin and probably derived from one of the Kadohadacho groups.
