"Eccentrics" or Multi-notched Bifaces: These often date to the Early Archaic Calf Creek period (with Bell and Andice points). Andice points in particular, have deep notches. Some bifaces and flakes from the period are also deeply notched, often with no discernible functional pattern; these are thought to be "practice pieces" for learning the distinctive notching patterns for Andice. However, notched pieces are also found with later Archaic dart point types, including Marshall and Castroville.
