These four sherds of Chupadero Black-on-White were found at Potsherd Rockshelter upon its discovery. Chupadero Black-on-White is a widely traded pottery type manufactured in east-centural New Mexico. The presence of this pottery and two redware sherds from Casas Grandes strongly suggest that La Junta villagers visited this shelter. Photo by John Seebach, CBBS, Sul Ross.
